Body Butter | Lotus Nut

An exotic blend of natural essential oils which include uplifting, Sweet Orange (Brazil); calming and confidence boosting Jasmine Absolute (India); Rose Absolute, the balancer and Sandalwood (India) for centering and harmonizing. We pair these top middle and base notes with fragrant hints of white gardenia, jasmine, coconut and white tea. This blend is for the exotic ones who love the Caribbean and are always in search for the next flight+hotel package to the islands.

This blend was created with my trip to Elephantine Island in mind. I stepped off a cruise ship that was sailing the Nile and there were powerfully fragrant Jasmine flowers along the pathway to the hotel. Every morning the smell of fresh oranges being juiced in the hotel lobby gave me that pep needed to get us through the tours of the day. The aroma of white tea greeted me as I closed the day out with a nightcap before resting. And, the smell of coconut oil adorned the locks of so many of my travel companions as we embarked on this adventure together 85 strong.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Vitis vinifera (Grape Seed Oil), Oryza Sativa (Rice Bran Oil), Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla Wax),essential oils & phthalate free fragrance 0.5-1.8%.

Jasminum grandiflorum (Jasmine absolute), Citrus sinensis (Sweet Orange), Santalum album(Sandalwood), Rosa damascena (Rose Absolute) essential oils. This blend contains the following in their natural compositions Linalool, Limonene, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamal, Benzo Benzoate, Citrus aurantium var. dulcis, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon Leaf Oil).


Rice bran oil, extracted from the germ and husk is rich in Vitamin E and Omega 9 and known to be a wonderful skin food, promoting hydration and repair. Grape Seed Oil, known as the "holy grail" of skin oils is rich in vitamin C and E, offering skin tightening and soothing properties.

Candelilla wax contributes shine and functions as a fast-absorbing emollient occlusive as well as nourishing conditioner. It is also reputed to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.


FRAGRANCE INGREDIENTS: MCT Medium chain triglycerides (organic) Jasmine absolute, Sweet Orange, Sandalwood, Rose Absolute essential oils. The aforementioned essential oils contain the following in their natural compositions Linalool, Limonene, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamal, Benzo Benzoate, Citrus aurantium var. dulcis, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon Leaf Oil).
Jasmonate, Lemon oil terpenes, Nerol, cyclohexane, citronellal. Phenethyl Alcohol 2% Benzyl Benzoate .05%, Lilial .0007%.
We dilute all fragrances with Coconut and/or MCT Medium chain triglyceride oils at 50-60% following IFRA and aromatherapy guidelines

We infuse fragrance at 0.5-1.8%.

All fragrance formulations are diluted and pre-blended in MCT (Medium-chain triglycerides derived from coconut/palm oils) using aromatherapeutic guidelines.

Our fragrances are blended with natural & organic essential oils, as well as unadulterated phthalate-free fragrances. Certificates of Natural Composition on file.

However, some of the chemical constituents found in our natural essential oils and phthalate-free fragrances have been included on the European Commission’s list of allergens. We encourage you to review the list for your knowledge.i

Apply a dime size amount at a time to skin as needed.

What are the Best Practices for longer shelf life?

This product may melt in extreme heat, 90+ degree temperature. We recommend refrigeration before use during very hot summer months if you do not use air conditioning. In addition, sometimes if an all natural product is placed in two different extreme environments (hot or cold) causing it to melt then harden again, the fatty acids and/or flower wax component may harden faster than the rest of the contents creating a grainy-like texture. To fix carefully melt to liquify contents, cool and place in the refrigerator. The butter will return to its original smooth buttery texture.

All essential oil and phthalate free fragrance formulation is pre-blended in plant based oil (MCT coconut oil) by aromatherapeutic guidelines.
