Growing up in Harlem the smell of Frankincense draped the ethereal walls of 125th street from East to West. My Mom burned Frankincense every evening after dinner and so when I visited ancient Khemet (Egypt) it was no surprise that this regal, aromatic would follow me through the narrow streets of the night bizarre, among other mysterious places of this distant, majestic land.

The aforementioned fragrant molecules are also found in our fragrance compositions.

Rice bran oil, extracted from the germ and husk is rich in Vitamin E and Omega 9 and known to be a wonderful skin food, promoting hydration and repair. Grape Seed Oil, known as the "holy grail" of skin oils is rich in vitamin C and E, offering skin tightening and soothing properties.

Candelilla wax contributes shine and functions as a fast-absorbing emollient occlusive as well as nourishing conditioner. It is also reputed to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

(Cinnamomum zeylanicum ) Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil in its proper dilution formula is reputed to calm dry skin. Used topically Frankincense oil is known to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and imperfections such as discoloration.

What are the Best Practices for longer shelf life?

This product may melt in extreme heat, 90+ degree temperature. We recommend refrigeration before use during very hot summer months if you do not use air conditioning. In addition, sometimes if an all natural product is placed in two different extreme environments (hot or cold) causing it to melt then harden again, the fatty acids and/or flower wax component may harden faster than the rest of the contents creating a grainy-like texture. To fix carefully melt to liquify contents, cool and place in the refrigerator. The butter will return to its original smooth buttery texture.

All essential oil formulation is diluted and pre-blended in plant based oil (MCT coconut/palm oils) by aromatherapeutic guidelines.
