Body Butter | Energizing Citruese

A crisp citrus blend of sweet orange (energizing), pink grapefruit (stimulating) and lemon verbena essential oils paired with notes of cedarwood. This blend is crisp and clean. It is citrusy, but not too bitter or lemon-like, and has a green backdrop that is slightly masculine but not metallic. Citruese was created for the early riser who has their day planned and wants to smell ready for it. Our Citruese blend comes in our hero body butter, ultra hydrating body lotion, body salt scrub and roll-on body oil.

Safflower Oil, known as the "holy grail" of skin oils is rich in vitamin C and E, offering skin tightening and soothing properties.

Organic Carnauba Wax contributes shine and functions as a fast-absorbing emollient occlusive as well as nourishing conditioner. It is also reputed to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

Organic Black Seed Oil has been found to be high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties such as thymoquinone, reputed for reducing irritation and swelling making it beneficial for dermal issues such as eczema and psoriasis.

The aforementioned essential oils contain the following in their natural compositions Linalool, Limonene, Citral, Geraniol. The aforementioned fragrant molecules are also found in our phthalate free fragrance compositions.

We dilute all fragrances and essential oils with organic Coconut and/or MCT Medium chain triglyceride oil. We dilute at 2.5-3.5%.

Our fragrances are blended with natural & organic essential oils, as well as fragrance.

What are the Best Practices for longer shelf life?

This product may melt in extreme heat, 90+ degree temperature. We recommend refrigeration before use during very hot summer months if you do not use air conditioning. In addition, sometimes if an all natural product is placed in two different extreme environments (hot or cold) causing it to melt then harden again, the fatty acids and/or flower wax component may harden faster than the rest of the contents creating a grainy-like texture. To fix carefully melt to liquify contents, cool and place in the refrigerator. The butter will return to its original smooth buttery texture.

All essential oil and phthalate free fragrance formulation is diluted and pre-blended in plant based oil (MCT coconut/palm oils) by aromatherapeutic guidelines.
