Our core oils are expeller pressed with no solvents.

Our Rice bran oil is expeller pressed and extracted from the germ and husk is rich in Vitamin E and Omega 9 and known to be a wonderful skin food, promoting hydration and repair. Safflower Seed Oil, known as the "holy grail" of skin oils is rich in vitamin C and E, offering skin tightening and soothing properties.

Candelilla wax contributes shine and functions as a fast-absorbing emollient occlusive as well as nourishing conditioner. It is also reputed to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

However, some of the chemical constituents found in our natural essential oils and phthalate-free fragrances have been included on the European Commission’s list of allergens. We encourage you to review the list for your knowledge.

What are the Best Practices for a longer shelf life?

This product may melt in extreme heat, 90+ degree temperature. We recommend refrigeration before use during very hot summer months if you do not use air conditioning. In addition, sometimes if an all natural product is placed in two different extreme environments (hot or cold) causing it to melt then harden again, the fatty acids and/or flower wax component may harden faster than the rest of the contents creating a grainy-like texture. To fix this try running hot water over the jar or carefully melt to liquify contents, cool and place in the refrigerator. The butter will return to its original smooth buttery texture.

We advise against using blends with Musk fragrance and Cinnamon essential oil during pregnancy and breastfeeding. These include our Chateau, Precious Sudan, Unity Code and White Silke blends.

Our Almost Unscented and Lavender Cami blends are great for expecting mothers, little ones and those sensitive to fragrance.
