      Our core oils are expeller pressed with no solvents.

      Our Rice bran oil is expeller pressed and extracted from the germ and husk is rich in Vitamin E and Omega 9 and known to be a wonderful skin food, promoting hydration and repair. Safflower Seed Oil, known as the "holy grail" of skin oils is rich in vitamin C and E, offering skin tightening and soothing properties.

      Candelilla wax contributes shine and functions as a fast-absorbing emollient occlusive as well as nourishing conditioner. It is also reputed to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

      However, some of the chemical constituents found in our natural essential oils and phthalate-free fragrances have been included on the European Commission’s list of allergens. We encourage you to review the list for your knowledge.

      What are the Best Practices for a longer shelf life?

      This product may melt in extreme heat, 90+ degree temperature. We recommend refrigeration before use during very hot summer months if you do not use air conditioning. In addition, sometimes if an all natural product is placed in two different extreme environments (hot or cold) causing it to melt then harden again, the fatty acids and/or flower wax component may harden faster than the rest of the contents creating a grainy-like texture. To fix this try running hot water over the jar or carefully melt to liquify contents, cool and place in the refrigerator. The butter will return to its original smooth buttery texture.

      We advise against using blends with Musk fragrance and Cinnamon essential oil during pregnancy and breastfeeding. These include our Chateau, Precious Sudan, Unity Code and White Silke blends.

      Our Almost Unscented and Lavender Cami blends are great for expecting mothers, little ones and those sensitive to fragrance.

      Butter By Keba creates fragrant blends using the technique of a perfumer from an aromatherapeutic perspective. While we hold certification in aromatherapy we are not medical practitioners nor prescribe our blends for medical purposes. We advise seeking the consultation of a medical professional for any medical issue you may be experiencing.

After much deliberation we have decided to revert back to our original distributor. We will send you another bottle from our original formulation. As for the color, we are now incorporating USDA certified organic essential oils of the highest purity for many of our blends.       I absolutely love Prescious Sudan and have been waiting a very long time for the restock. However, this new version of the Body Butter is not ad fragrant ad it used to be. Additionally, the packaging was very worn out and almost damaged when I received my order. Not the outside box, but rather the packaging itself. Lastly, I wished it came in a bigger size like before. :(

As our society seems to be tackling more toxic materials in our food and environment we decided to commit to incorporating all natural fragrance for our first re-release of body butter inventory which will eventually go through USDA Organic certification. Yes, we will be offering more organic scents and we still sell our classic scents in the perfume roll-on oils and body creams.

      I love Body by Keva. My only complaint is that the jar is much smaller than my original purchase but I will assume there is a reason for that.

      I love how soft it leaves the skin when using as a scrub. I usually will use the scrub 2x a week followed by the body butter. I also use it for my Sunday soaks. The light Citrus scent is a great energy boost.
